Bangkok [Thailand], October 10: The Ministry of Finance of Thailand and the Bank of Thailand are involved in preparations for the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group-an event, given its scale, often dubbed the 'Olympics of Finance. '
The preparation team, headed by Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, alongside Dr. Vinit Visessuvanapoom, Director General of the Fiscal Policy Office, and Mr. Nadhavudh Dhamasiri, Deputy Director General of the Fiscal Policy Office, guided members of the press through the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) to showcase the venue's full readiness for the meetings.
