Online fraud dominates cyber incidents in Ghana - Director

Ghana recorded 3,876 cybersecurity incidents between January and July 2026, with online fraud accounting for 47 per cent of the cases, the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has disclosed. The Director-General of the CSA, Dr Divine Selase Agbeti, said the development required sustained efforts to combat cybercrime and strengthen the country’s capacity to detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
