Zach Lahn Story County Town Hall

Zach Lahn, the Republican candidate for the Iowa Governor race, stopped in Story County Community Building in Nevada for his Story County Town Hall Wednesday. The evening opened with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance after Lahn came in with his wife and seven children. Lahn immediately got into it by bringing up the debate from last night, which led to a lot of clapping and hollering from the warm crowd. “I am very proud to be a Republican,” Lahn said. “We are the party of Abraham Lincoln, of Frederick Douglass, of Theodore Roosevelt, of Ronald Reagan, who taught us to be proud of being American and those are people that we should be proud of and proud of their history.
